just about the best i reckon is the ******** (can you guess the model name), kodak, they made a few, the early ones are often picked up enthusiastically although nothing special but the second model was to die for, a lovely built camera, with all the attributes (and more!-for those that cant live with out modern right hand shutter button , you can fight over it) you could ask for in a camera of that era

I have a Balda Super Baldax myself, I'm not sure how it stands up to other similar folders, but it does let you align the rangefinder yourself pretty easily. I do love it though.
I have the Balda Hapo66e, I got it for a couple hundred dollars. Even though it is a cut down version of other Baldas, it is really nice. The film advance is complicated, but after you learn it, it's OK. My lenses seems to be very good.
