I've been using the R3A w/ 40 and a L w/ 15 for a few months now and I couldn't be happier. The size and portability of these cameras compared to my DSLR's and film SLR's I use for work is a welcome break for my back. I'm not concerned with the stealthness as I believe it's the photographer's, not the camera, that draws attention to one's self.

I slow down a lot more when shooting with the rangefinders to ensure proper focus. This also forces me to look at the picture a little longer and make any adjustments. RF's will never be able to replace my work gear, but they are really wonderful to use as travel/family/street/etc. photography when I just don't need a SLR.

I'm glad I didn't sell my L w/15, because today a fellow photog needed a really wide lens and I was able to provide it.

I concur with you Clint. I just bought an R2 + 35/2.5 from torontotom and just got back a roll of test snapshots i took yesterday. man, i had so much fun using that thing! Focusing/framing took a bit of getting used to since I have only shot SLR/DSLRs previously. Now I see what the fuss over RFs is all about! Other than studio/portrait shooting which I'd stick with my canon gear, for everything else, there's Bessa!
