I'm planning to mount this lens on a Speed Graphic soon. The only information I have of this lens is that this is the projector lens of the Oscar Mikut camera. What can I expect of its output at 4x5? Any information regarding this lens is very much appreciated. Thank you.

140mm should *illuminate* if not *cover* 4x5 with no movements but I doubt the corners will be resolving much detail.
It may work fine for your purposes...just depends what you are want for output.

Thanks for the reply. I intend to use it as a portrait lens and will have to use it wide open, since there's no shutter mechanism.

i took a couple of shots with the mikutar mounted and posted one on flickr. i'll try to shoot more and post more samples of what this lens can do.

Looks good to me. Is this the full frame, uncropped?

It's full frame, though I cropped the film edge (film marker). No vignetting as predicted by fixcinator.
