Rear Lens Cap for G2 28mm

Hi,

Sorry I know this is my first post, but I came across this site trying to find a new rear lens cap.

Has anyone any idea where I could locate a new rear lens cap for my G2 28mm lens, I have tried Contax who have taken over from Contax, but without any joy.

Any help would be much appreciated.

It took me a couple of months of begging and (nearly) stealing to find one. I'd call KEH and put your name on a waiting list and then call periodically to remind them. Also try TOCAD.com, they may have them.

If you become a member at phnet, you will be able to see her email etc etc. It is free, though ocasionally they ask for contributions.

These GK-R2 caps have sold on the bay from 45 to 70 $ though in the last year.

Hi,

My latest attempt with your help has now drawn blanks:bang: .

Is there an alternative cap that might fit? Like a universal one, I'm not too worried about a Contax one, I just want to protect the lens.

Whoops! Forgot to mention the model #, it's a GK-R2. This is the same one for the 28mm, 21mm and the 35-70 zoom.
