For my M3. One that looks good, plus one that would not snap on me tumbling my rig to the floor. What say you?

I'd recommend the Gordy strap. they are solid. I haven't tried any others though.

I made two of my own from a strip of leather given to me by a shop that made belts. I threaded it through the wire clip that came with the original neck strap and then used whipping chord to bind the loose ends together. The result is strong enough to support my M7 and I use the other on my DSLR. Looking at the Gordy strap, the ones I made are every bit as good (and free).

One of these and a piece of 550 cord, tied into a loop with a grapevine knot.
I've not yet found anything better.

They're all good. Just make sure the length is right for your wrist.
I like mine long enough so that I can slip it over my wrist while the camera is still in my bag/pocket.
Same thing after shooting, place your camera in the bag first before slipping the strap off.

One more foe the Gordy strap. Mine has the screw for attachang it to the tripod socket. If I did it again, I'd get the one with a thumb screw so as not to have to carry a quarter in my pocket all the time.

The Leica neckstrap can serve as a wrist strap, but I have also used a Gordy's wrist strap on one camera for the past couple of years and have no complaints. His straps are simple, elegant and seem stronger than anyone else's.

Interesting. Can you have it strapped to wrist at the same time while you are shooting? I ask because it is attached to the tripod socket.

An M3 without a grip is too heavy to use with one hand for any length of time. Keep your normal strap, and when you need to hide your camera and shoot fast with your 21mm, you can simply wrap your strap around the wrist. BTW, I have discovered, that for this kind of shooting a NIKON F100 works much better.
