Recommend me a wrist strap, please.

Yet another for Gordy's. Good quality, hand made, great prices, lots of choice. What's not to like?

Oh, and the gallery at his site of proud owners showing off their cameras and straps is great, too!

Interesting. Can you have it strapped to wrist at the same time while you are shooting? I ask because it is attached to the tripod socket.

Yes. I do this all of the time with my Barnacks and Zorkiis. Of course these bottom loading cameras have the tripod socket on the right side of the camera, under the takeup spool. Somewhere, either B&H or Adorama, I found a tripod socket strap which is about a inch longer than the others. This one works very well for cameras where the tripod socket is centered.

I used to carry my cameras with a wrist strap attached to the strap lug, but I found that the lug can work loose and cause a light leak.

Anyone using a non-leather wrist strap for their Leica M? I'm planning on travelling and shooting in the jungle, and I assume (maybe wrongly) that neopren might be better than leather in those conditions?

Take this one just now, for Fujifilm X-E1 or Leica M2 with short lenses.....(for heavy duty I use a OpTech-Usa Slinger shoulder strap.....)
Similar to Gordy's but those are from UK, easier to deliver in EU zone; I prefer the "loop" attachment, don't hurt camera rings...
Anyone tested it?
