Recovering (Re-leathering) a Nikon F4

I have a Nikon f4s that I would like to re-leather before I sell it (great camera that could be slightly better if it had a grippier grip) and it doesn't look like either Aki Asahi or Cameraleather have new skins for it.

Anyone have ideas of where to look?

I've never thought too much about the finish on the F4 but it really doesn't have a skin like the other "F" bodies before it...even the F5 doesn't have a skin but more of a molded rubber cover...hmmmm...

Not much you can do for an F4 unfortunately.

I have an F4 that has a crack in the skin of the back door.
Does anyone have a skin or complete door to change?

I don't think even Nikon service had the rubber parts when it was still being sold - they always swapped the entire door or grip on ours. Probably the swapped parts got refurbished somewhere at the factory, but it must have involved more than sticking on a skin.

There is no leather on the F4. It is rubberised metal. You cannot recover it.
