Reflecta 10T & Pacific Image XE frame centering issue

The supplied negative holders are cutting off information because negatives don't have even frame spacing.

I have the Reflecta 10M and sometimes have this issue. What helps a lot is if there is absolutely no leader around the edge of the first negative so that the machine is dealing with the exact length of a negative and uses this for each subsequent negative on the film strip.
