Hi there, first of all hello, i'm a newbie to this forum! As an owner of an Bessa R with 35/1.7 and a 21/4 i was looking for a low budget 50mm and 75mm. After some searching i ended on ebay buying an Industar 61 l/d and a Jupiter 9. Both of them were very stiff in focussing, so i searched the internet and found some manuals for relubing the 61.
But for the J9 i couldn't find something (yes for the J9 Kiev, Laika posted a great manual). Does anyone of you know where to look, or has experience with relubing a J9 LTM?

Thanks for answers,

PJ

ps. i've a lot of reading to do at this forum, interesting stuff!!

The Jupiter 9 is a complex lens and many are screwed up because inexperienced repairs were done. The safest bet is to send it off toOleg at OKphotocamera in the Ukraine. He is the master and is *very* highly regarded. I got a quote from him on a CLA on a Jupiter 9. He said it runs US$20 to US$30 and it's usually US$20. He charges $10 for return shipping. Mine will be going to him soon.
