Repair places in NYC for Fuji GW690II

Finally received my 6x9 and I just wanted to take it in somewhere to get it checked out before the return time expires. Any good and honest repair places that you can recommend in New York, preferably Manhattan?

I know the usual B&H, Adorama and K&M, but I feel like they might try to sell me unnecessary repairs instead of giving me honest feedback on the camera? Reason for all this is a loose screw on the lens that wont grip on the thread when screwed back in.

You might want to try Nippon photo clinic. I think they work on Fujis. I've had a good experience with them.

Fuji USA is in New Jersey. I know that isn't just around the corner but it is pretty close.

Frank Marshman has serviced all of my Fujica and Fujifilm cameras for the last 20 years. However, he is not in NYC. He's about 40 years of experience, and much with Fuji. In fact he's a parts source or parts he gets from Fujifilm.

He may be able to direct you to someone in NYC, but frankly I wouldn't sent any of my Fuji's to anyone but Frank.

Thanks guys! Yeah Frank's name seems to come up a lot around here 🙂. Well, since there isn't actually anything wrong with the camera it seems a bit excessive to ship it to him, but I'll definitely give him a call and see if he can recommend anyone in NY.
