Hi -- I have two cameras that need some repair attention, but I am not sure these days who is doing these things these days economically. I have a 1950s Koniflex TLR that has a film advance problem, where the first few frames work fine but on frame 4 the film will no longer advance (the knob gets stuck), sometimes using the shutter a few times will "unjam" it -- but it is kind of annoying. Probably something on the film counter end. I also have a Contax Aria that has developed a problem where it focuses a hair short of infinity with all of my C/Y lenses -- probably some kind of mirror rest / position issue, but it is not something I can accomplish. Any advice for shops that can fix stuff like this? Thanks!

The best "all around" tech that I now is Dan Daniels. He seems open to trying anything. You can find his website on google.

For the Koniflex I'd try Mark Hansen (zeissikonrolleirepair dot com) and for the Aria Nippon Photo Clinic in NYC is the only repair shop I know of in the U.S. who will touch a battery dependent Contax.
Neither of these options will be cheap or quick but they're both highly skilled and reliable.

Service Camera Pro in Quebec works on TLRs: http://servicecamerapro.com/e-home.html
They did good work on an old Rolleiflex for me. And very pleasant to deal with!
