I posted this in another thread, but I'm not certain many people saw it so I'm reposting it as a separate thread.
I purchased a bag from the LeftOverStudio on etsy.com, one of their large satchel camera bags intending to use it as a bag for my medium format gear. Of course things never go as planned and I've used it almost exclusively as a carry on for travel (with clothes, computer, small camera, etc). After taking several trips I really like the bag, but I've had issues with the strap, specifically the clasp. The clasp comes undone randomly and I'd rather not have my computer (or if I ever get to it my camera gear) damaged from a fall.
Does anyone have any suggestions for a replacement strap? Ideally, I wish I could replace the clasp, but I don't really know how to do that. I was hoping to find something that matched the bag, but I haven't had much luck.
Currently, I'm I've found two potential canvas replacements, the:

I'll probably contact the seller and see if they have any options, but I doubt they have different hardware readily available and shipping isn't really quick as it comes from overseas.

It's an easy fix...go to Radio Shack or Harbor Freight Tools and buy some shrink tubing and put it around the moving part of the clasp and heat it up to shrink it.

You could also look at UPSTRAP's website. I don't know if they do straps for bags, but their camera straps are bulletproof and stay up, as the name says, very well.
