Hello everyone.
I recently acquired one of these. A right orientated one, but that's fine - I don't find it blocks my Zorkis' speed dials really. Took it apart to clean everything: all seemed in order, everything as it should be. All of the focal lengths are relatively bright, shiny and in-focus now. Except the 50mm. For some reason, this is blurry as mush and not really usable. Shame, because I'm a glasses wearer, and I mostly got it because I wanted more eye relief than the Zorki's finder gives.
I've already tried putting the 50mm lens in the other way round. I'm guessing it's not a problem with the prisms, as all the rest of the focal lengths are good. It's like the lens is the wrong distance in front of the prism lens. No visible flaws in the 50mm lens. I've tried tightening the central screw as much as I can.
Help!
Cheers in advance,
Richard.
Looking at it again, it's reasonably sharp in the centre, but quickly falls off to sludge - makes me almost think the lens could be warped.
