Hi, does anyone know the thickness and dimensions for the film door and latch seals for the ql17? I have Jon Goodman's kit, but I'm not sure which one foam to use. Also, is it all right to put foam in the top rail on the body like with other cameras instead of the film door?

Thanks. He sent me his PDF, but I don't see any mention of the appropriate thickness for the foam. Perhaps because the instructions appear to be designed for pre-sorted and cut foam strips?

Hi Kat,
Rather than work from memory, I will check when I get home and post the sizes. He used to include a small booklet with the kits that had most of the sizes in.

Kat, in Jon's kit, everything is cut to size except that some things need to be trimmed in length slightly after installation, plus on one piece, there's a choice as to whether to use a felt based or foam based piece.
