Restoring my darkroom...

I just spent the last hour cleaning up my darkroom (it doubles as my parent's supply closet, and after Christmas decorating the place was a mess); when its all nice and neat I went to turn my enlarger on to make sure it still worked

and the bulb died on me.


damn! At least I hadn't yet prepared chemicals, then I really would have been sour. Even worse is that I was just at the store yesterday stocking up on papers and chemicals, didn't even think to buy another bulb.
Guess I'm stuck to film developing for the time being.

You've heard of perfect timing. Now you have experienced something less than that. I sympathize with you. There is something about the rules of the cosmos that says, if something can go wrong, it will. Keep a stiff upper lip, and hope the store isn't out of enlarging bulbs next time you visit - that would be a double whammy.
