RF BOOK-Project

Participants! I've culled my enormous collection of thousands upon thousands of shots to a mere 20(!) favourites that are candidates for the book.

Please take a looksy at my RFF Book - candidates gallery and tell me which shots should be the lucky ones.

Dang! Shooting with a RF has given me soooo many shots that I'm pleased with that it's nigh impossible to choose ONLY 2!

Can you imagine I have over 100 developed but unscanned rolls waiting to be processed? That's over 3500 shots.... :confused:
 
Mylord! Only a few minutes and already the comments are pouring in! OK, perhaps not "pouring" but still....

Sometimes I get the idea some of us spend more time here at RFF than with our wife/GF/child. And some of us aren't doing much but read the RFF threads at work either! :)
 
Wow this is fun - but I'm supposed to be working...

Very strong gallery, RML. I've just left comments on the two that I like best but gee I've seen some really good pics today what with yours and Todd's. Great work! :)
 
Wow, I just noticed this thread! Have you already gotten your 25? If not I'm in for this OR the next edition - LOL. :)
 
Canonman, I'm sorry to say you came too late but that's not really your fault! Places went like hotcakes, and were sold out in less than 24 hours. I doubt Richard had counted on such a response. :)

Maybe we better already make a list for the candidates of book 2? The people on standby could populate the first seats of that list....

I'm glad I already had been thinking of doing a book by myself for some time, and had already made a selection of shots to go in that book. But still I had several hundred shots that would do. Now I have cut that number down to 20, and I really need some input from y'all. The choices are just too difficult to make by myself. :)
 
A standby list is a good idea, and I agree with priority slots for those that missed out this time.

Now, what about book 3??? :)

I'll sign up for the next one. I can't wait! I need to get out and get some photos (not to mention start posting some here).
 
Guys,

My contribution to this book may only be as a purchaser (and getting all my friends to buy a copy or two :D ), but I must say this is the coolest project I've ever seen. I can't wait to get a copy. You've also inspired me to get out there and get some shots - I'd love to be in volume two or three myself now that my Ricoh 500G has finally arrived!

Doug, I second what Todd said - thanks for the support.

And as Doug said - go out and shoot and keep film alive (and build up some good shots for book 2 (gosh, can't believe I said book 2....)
