Australia/New Zealand RFF camera round Australia and NZ

The trusty Fed will be on its way to Pitadotcom today.

I enjoyed it's visit. The viewfinder was just as Keith warned "like looking through the end of a stubby" but the diopter did help quite a lot. At first I thought the diopter lever had something to do with rewinding the film, so I was careful not to touch it until I had almost finished the roll.

I also liked using a softie for the first time. I must confess that I did not realise it was a softie until I read Scrambler's comment about the camera having one.

Posted pics in the other thread.

Thanks for supplying the camera Scrambler and organizing the journey batey_1020.

Fabulous photos Helen. I think both of your selfies are very inventive. You've got my vote for PM ;-) The gas pipeline sign is poetry.

ricnak for PM! I like it. I need a job. We could call it the "RFF Party". It would look good on a t shirt and my CV.

No more crazy than Bob Katter or Clive Palmer.

If only I had posted on Friday and you voted me in on Saturday - Election Day.

Maybe next time around...

^ good thinking re the manual.

I regret not reading Scrambler's detailed post on the camera in more detail before I charged ahead...

I sat at my desk for a good 30 minutes trying to suss the FED out. the shutter select really trumped me and the manual didnt really help haha

i hope it doesnt rain in brisbane all week because that will really limit what i can shoot. i still plan on passing on the camera next week regardless

The Fed is now in the hands of Hamfish. Will try post what I could get from my half a roll next week. being busy with uni is my excuse haha.

but its a nice camera. i enjoyed my time with it very much

Just got word the camera should be making its trip south in the coming week to Sydney.

Hmmmm where do i head to shoot.....
