Australia/New Zealand RFF camera round Australia and NZ

The camera is at our local post office but I won't be able to pick it up until tomorrow.

The joys of living in semi rural paradise.

I meant to ask about film ... I generally only shoot 24 frame rolls though I may resort to 36 for this because I'll blow a few exposures for sure! :D

I think the statement was "a roll or two." I didn't want to set the standard for tardiness, so stuck to one. I'm sure everyone will have their preferred films to try; the variety will be part of the attraction IMHO.

This works out perfectly for me. If I pick the camera up tomorrow I'll be able to take it into Brisbane on Friday where my artist mate will be installing one of his creations ... should make for some good pics! :)

Well Australia Post have a good attempt at losing our travelling RF on it's first leg. I wondered why the package was a few days late and in spite of very clear addressing they managed to send it to the wrong mail centre. There's some glitch in their sorting system that they have never managed to figure out and my address is a bit of a 'Bermuda Triangle' it seems! :D

It'll be on its way again in a day or so ... to Helen (Ricnac) I gather. :)

Been very busy for the past few weeks.
Excelent to see it making its way and good on you for tracking it down on its first trip keith.

Pitadtcom, im sure i can pop you on the end of the list before it makes its way back to Scrambler.

I'd considered getting tracking on the post but figured "What could go wrong in 100km?"

There's no accounting for idiots who don't know how to connect post codes with the various suburbs. Note how they changed the correct post code to an incorrect one during sorting which means the package bounces at least once before they figure it out and get it to the correct distribution center.

It's only been happening for about six years now and my worst experience was when my F6 disappeared into their maze for about three weeks! :bang:

:D

In Brissy

In Brissy

Sounds like such a great idea. I am keen and in Brissy too if it's kicking around! (Eight Mile Plains)

Cheers,

Hamish

Finally finished the roll of HP5+ in the Fed today so it will be moving on to Helen in a day or so. Not sure what I'll have on the roll as I was travelling meterless and all my shots were taken in a large variety of lighting conditions relying on my experience with sunny sixteen.

It was fun actually ... I always enjoy shooting this way and HP5+ is very forgiving! :)

Picked up the "precious" this afternoon.

It is quite a beast. My son laughed at the handwritten aperture scale and thought it was a great idea for a project for people.

I expect to have it for 2 weeks. I am not a rapid shooter, I am even slower in the developing department. It will then go to the next person on the list..

If you can take a late entrant for the leg going south - I'm near Canberra - I'd be keen to add a little of my spirit to the Fed.

It is a 'beast' ... like most FSUs it has a definite personality.

I found the film counter a little vague by the way! :D
