I think RFF should be for anyone with a shared interest in Rangefinders. Although I assume there are more amateurs than pros on here, we can all still learn, and take inspiration from each other...

Ah ! Yes. I interpreted the poll question as only a headcount.
It would indeed be a big loss if the pros dropped out of a forum because it was "for" amateurs.
Hopefully folks won't be tripping over words here.

Oh ... I think it was but I just thought that I`d make that tangential point 🙂

My guess is that most RFF members are amateurs and not professionals. This does nor mean that their photos are inferior to those taken by pros.

how do you see rff...more for amateurs or pros?

I don't view RFF in that way, I don't think it's "more for" either... it's just a great place for people who like RFs (and others who are enthusiastic about photography) to share ideas, information, and their passion.

RFF for me is a place to socialize with fellow Leicaphiles. I am humbled by the depth of knowledge and dedication to photography as a medium through which fellows here describe how they fit in this world of ours.

It's for both pros and amateurs. I know there's more amateurs here: there are more amateur photo enthusiasts than professional photo enthusiasts. But the RFF community values particularly photographers with proven ability: professionals and semi-professionals fit that bill. As do many amateurs here.

This would be a very small site if only for pros and a very poor site if only for amateurs.

I voted 'for amateurs' but then there are amateurs who have great skill and a good eye. That's not me by a mile, I just hang around checking for interesting tidbits about photography that people come up with.
