Is it a magic hat?
I'd buy one, even though i usually look totally silly wearing a hat.

JoeFriday said:good question, hoot.. I suggest we go with the L.L. Bean Moose River hat since I was about to buy one, anyway
Oooh, I could just see a Tilley hat with the RFF logo!NVARon said:UIf it is a baseball hat I may pass on it as I have too many baseball style hats. If it is a bucket style hat (or fisherman's hat), well I will want one. After all, I should not have to turn my cap on backwards just because I may be using a flash on occasion.

Dude... with your location, you should be lovin' a Tilley hat, hemp no less!cp_ste-croix said:you know, as someone young and hip, i suggest a foam and mesh RFF hat 🙂

Foam & mesh? Yuck! Maybe for a farmer in Central Illinois....

Great for sun and rain both, much more practical than the standard issue patrol cap (roughly baseball-style). You could also secure the sides in the up position with the chin strap and have a decent pass at a cowboy or Aussie hat 🙂.
<sigh> Those were the days.... Still have it even though woodland camoflage doesn't coordinate with much of anything, so I bought an olive-drab civilian Woolrich lookalike for hiking.
