Even in a world where everything has a price, we have come to expect- even insist- that many things on the Internet be free. This attitude seems to disegard the real cost -in time and money- of creating and running sites that many enjoy. I believe RFF and PN ( for RF loving Photographers) are great values. For a relatively small sum of money annually- and even that is voluntary- I am able to extract, if I wish, hours of entertainment and education any day, any time, for as long as I want. I, like everyone else, may have my little issues with some aspects of RFF, but overall, I must admit that I love the site ; and (dare I admit it ?) sometimes spend much of the evening just cruising around , looking at pictures, browsing the classifieds, and stopping in to read people's opinions, and sometimes, participating in discussions.
So, I'd like to applaud everyone who is involved in creating and running this site, for providing a wonderful place where photographers can come and spend time. 🙂
(No, nothing new has happened; just woke up this morning with more than my usual dose of insight. Hmm,,,must try to remember which way I slept) 😉
