rice size scratch on 15mm lens

Today, I saw a used 15mm lens for bessa L in the camera shop with a scratch on the front of the lens just off the center, the size of a grain of uncooked rice. They wanted $320.00 I offerd $100.00 they said $300.00 is the lowest. Would you pay $200.00 for this lens? How bad are the pictures going to look? Thanks

Considering that you can get a brand new 15mm Heliar for USD 345,- from Stephen Gandy, I would not buy the scratched one.

I would not buy it either, a minimum of 300 dollars for such a scratched lens is kind of insulting. Let them hang onto it.
