Ricoh 519 filter/hood

Hello all,
Does anyone have a lead on filters/adapters/hood for the 519? I believe it's a 43mm thread, but the threads are fairly recessed and standard filters/adapters can't clear the lens front element to thread on. I greatly appreciate any help!

Could you use a 43mm spacer ring or filter ring with no glass and mount filters onto that? 43mm is a fairly common/inexpensive size these days.

Yes, I think that can work – find an inexpensive 43mm with inside and outside threads and remove the optic. I'll look for one with a very thin side wall. Thank you!
