Kent, how are you finding the diff between the IV & V (presuming that's the "new GR" you mention)?
I'm in no rush for f2.8 after all this time with f1.9, despite the larger sensor. The first project I did with the III in 2011 was indoors, low light, and I shot a lot wide open @1600, and those results were what made me a GRD believer. The IV handles 1.9/1600 even better, with 3200 as needed.
Would love to hear your thoughts / see some side-by-sides, while I wait on my rebuilt IV to come home....

Robert,
I like them both a great deal. The new GR (APS-C) gives a little more file to work with with the ability to push it more in post. That said I think both are superb and frankly the dual focusing and shake reduction on the IV make it a staunch competitor, regardless of sensor size. 3200 on the V is absolutely no problem with higher ISOs usable on the BW side for sure.
I'll take and pop up some comparisons this week, happy to. I can say that I still like the IV form factor more but the 5 was a pleasure to shoot with.

@Helen - It is pretty "cooked" from a processing point of view, definitely not for everyone's sensibilities. I was definitely trying to maximize the "feel, not necessarily the overall IQ.
Here's a more conventional one from the IV.
