Ricoh GR-D (I,II,III,IV): Post your photos!

great! how do you like the new GR?

Having had most of the Ricoh GR models in the past, including the film versions Im finding this every bit as good as. I was using the IV prior to getting the new GR and in terms of handling they are so similar that any GRD user will find the step up to this one easy. The image quality is better obviously, focusing is faster although size a tad bigger. Given the following that the GRD range has had in the past, this model, with its improved image quality is a welcome addition and prove just as popular. Having said that I do still like the GRD IV and will find it hard to part with. Watch the classifieds.

Help, I am having trouble posting photos from my Flickr page.
So I click on photo, copy the entire URL address (www.) and then paste onto the box here that prompts me to add URL address?

Is that the Union Square Macy's, Kent? (from the non-Square side?)

My IV just came home from CrisCam, will shoot some today if the grass pollen doesn't swell my eyes shut.

It is Robert, shot from the middle of Union Square. Glad your camera is back home!

Nice to see you had the same bright bright light for casting shadow forms we had in Oregon today, Zeno. But I was shooting a Nikon RF with a Weston II meter....

@Dominique: otherworldly colors. Like a cloud from Genesis.

@Richard: you manage to make the canteen truck an object of desire! Gorgeous tones.

The Ricoh GR has precipitated a revolution in my photographic behavior. This camera isn't invisible, but people notice it a great deal less than the RF or DSLR that I would use otherwise. It's fast and easy and lets me more think about making pictures with less thinking about the physical mechanisms of making pictures. I'm taking more pictures, and therefore getting a smaller percentage of keepers, but I'll damned if it isn't fun to take pictures with this baby.
