Something a bit different :

No more cloudless skies - 2 day end of Californian summer 15,000 frame timelapse from a GRDIII

Two day timelapse GRDIII

As the internal battery only lasts a couple hours, I'm currently tethered to the AC outlet in my apartment :-(

wow this thread picked up.
Nighstar. Post processing is excellent. Love the photos.

FrozenInTime: how did you do the the timelapse? I was wanting to do something like that. with my GRDIII

Michael: Like the image but it scares me to be honest, Im afraid of horses.

Jbielikowski: Im always afraid that is going to happen to mine. maybe time to upgrade to a GRD IIII? Im going to miss your shots.

Thanks JS.
However today has not been a good GRD day ... don`t know why.
James I sometimes wish that I was more wary of horses.
I`d have saved a heap of money :)

OK, with some serious delay here come a few of mine GRDIII shots. After 4 months I still find the lens a bit too wide for most of the time though. If Ricoh would bring 40/2.0 version it would be great.

I also shoot color, but these are probably my favorite so far.

Thanks V roma ...just caught your post.
Its a GRD 1 unfortunately ....so if I continue to use it as I do I think an upgrade may be on the cards in the future.
I`m seeing some lovely low light stuff here.

I really enjoy what you all are posting :)

One more from me - this time a bit more Photoshop - stitched panomara from 3 shots made through the window on 30th floor in Frankfurt (RAW saved this shot for me):

(follow the link for a much large version)

My used ricoh grd II just arrived yesterday (didn't had the time to shoot yet). But this little beast is really well built. It is a little overwhelming in functions at first but i guess i got the hang of it. Any advice on using this little camera? i've seen soo many good photos here. Congrats to everyone.

Btw, i don't seem to find the contrasty black and white definition. my firmware is the 2.40
