Question for those who own both the GR1 (any version) and the Ricoh GR Digital ... how do they compare?
Things I love about the GR1:
1) utterly small compact size
2) sharp lens
3) easy flash off switch (as opposed to numerous push button functions)
4) actual dial for apertures
5) SNAP focus mode
Things I don't like about the GR1(x) :
1) loud noise (both rewind and wind)
2) lens extension mechanism seems ripe for malfunction
3) viewfinder is a bit dim and crowded compared to other cameras (I understand the GRD has a LCD only)
How has the GRD addressed the pros and cons of the original GR1? Any regrets in your GRD purchase?
thanks
