Ricoh GR1/v/s photos post here

Since I have to wait for the roll to develop I'll just show off my camera :p

I wish I could get the black one but they are so hard to find. This one was practically brand new. Came with original box, warranty, case, etc. So I couldn't pass it up.

FalseDigital - congratulations.

I love my GRD III and GXR and am wondering whether to get one of these myself.

A friend of mine had the GRD II and I didn't particularly like it. The whole benefit of this camera is the lens. I don't think the GRD lens is nearly as good as the GR1. I think the fact that it's not a full frame sensor behind it probably has a lot to do with that as well.

I'd say, if you still enjoy shooting film the GR1 is worth picking up. It feels so nice in the hands, is a joy to shoot with, and (as proven by multiple photographers) can produce very high quality images. :)

Haven't posted here for a while! But all the images here are great! The film counter on my GR1s is losing segments but if I tilt it I can see :D. Not sending it back to CRIS unless it becomes a brick! Here's a few more recent.

This is becoming my favoriate thread! I'm thinking about replacing my 28/2 ultron with a GR1. My Hexar AF is arriving in the mail. I just need a 50mm P&S and I can get rid of the M6.

Well the GR1 definitely isn't f/2 but if you're not using it why not? I traded my 55mm f/1.2 for a GR1. I use the GR1 more than I ever used that lens so I'm happy with my trade.
