The vignetting is in camera. The Ricoh GXR cameras have an option to Program dial called Scene. You can choose a few photographic options like:
1. vignetting
2. cross-process
3. high contrast
etc.

What firmware are you running on the camera modules?
It is fun to explore with this camera. My only grip is the slow auto-focus.
Just to help turn the dial to scene, hit menu button and a series options should show on the LCD display. If nothing is displayed then you do not have the latest firmware. Head the Ricoh site to download the firmware.
I took a walk in a nearby wetland. My hometown lacks anything photographic. I thought a walk in the countryside would open my mind. It did. I got me thinking that a change of gear might be in order. Rural Canada is a complete contrast to urban Japan. My vision needs to change. An dSLR with zoom might be in order. I got Minolta AF zooms, but no dSLR!
