Ok so i just bought a rolleicord Vb cheap off a thrift store

My problem is that it came with a 16 exposure kit installed.

The default 12 exposure frame counter is nowhere to be found :(

Where can i buy this specific part?

Or is there someone here who has a parts camera i can use to recover the default frame counter?

Thanks in advance!! :D

I keep MY Rolleicord permanently now with the 16-on kit installed -- the 12 counter you unscrew to fit the 16 counter -- I have done a video on You Tube showing all about changing from 12 to 16 -- may be you will view ? -- I show some prints taken with the 16 -on kit as well

Second one down on the list of Videos I have done

I suggest contacting some of the specialist Rollei repairers or else purchasing a spare parts camera to procure this part and any others you think you may have a use for in future. As I recall the model Va also had the removable counter so bear this in mind when searching for the required part.
Cheers

I assume the frame counter part from the Va and Vb are interchangeable?

Yes.

Oceanside Camera, Harry Fleenor, has 12-count disks to sell, as I remember. Send him an email.

Be certain to open the camera back when changing the counter.

Don't ask.

Do give the 16 frame thing a try. It can be a very nice format and the Rolleicord is very pleasant for using it. None of the weight and noise of the 645 SLRs. I found that pre-focusing and then using the sports finder for vertical shots worked well.
