Nice price if it's working and the glass is good!

It is not mine, so you need to check with the seller. I am just the messenger. I found out from the seller that the lens is a Planar.

I wouldn't get it, personally.
No returns and this camera has been sitting in the storage. The camera would need a CLA and the lens might have fungus. The cosmetic condition isn't that good either: the leatherette is pealing and it is engraved.
If you do not have to have a Planar or a C model then a much better choice would be this one, a 2.8E Xenotar for LESS than $500.

(this will be gone quick).

I agree that a BGN KEH buy is safer in general. Still, it is possible to first get detailed images of the ebay camera. The seller said "It appears to be in good condition and can have it inspected/certified by a camera shop if you are seriously interested. " you could pik a specific camera repairman, maybe.

Just sayin' BGN KEH lenses can and do have fungi, hazing, etc., from personal experience. Not to complain, as I understand that's why its BGN. C type, of course, is desirable to some at it is the last 'Flex and the only 2.8 Planar 'Flex that has like 12-blad aperture.

I agree with keh bgn having fungus. I've had that issue with leica ltm lenses mostly. Well I was just throwing in the 2.8E in there because they are usually much more expensive than $500.

I was following this camera, on my process to purchasing my 2.8F.. once I handled the 2.8E & 2.8F I realized how complicated these things are, and am glad I was able to experiment with a 2.8E prior to finally settling on this 2.8F, and better yet it was CLA'd!
I'd wary against these unless you know what you're getting yourself into!

Any camera with fungus is out.
Maybe my ebay suggestion was not so bad after all.
