California (Bay Area, Northern) Sacramento Road Trip Oct. 21st

One of our crew (Bob) has an exhibition of his latest work and I thought it might make a fun road trip to take it in and enjoy a day in Sacto. It's easy to get there by train and we can take in the exhibition, grab some lunch and then wander about and do some shooting.

Maybe get there around 10am and enjoy the day. Thoughts?

Almost forgot... the local Alfa Romeo repair place has their annual open house at noon that day (= free lunch and cool cars) as well!

Kent, of course you realize that on the 21st the Oakland A's will be playing the Yankees in the 7th game of the AL championship series, right? However, if by chance Oakland has wrapped it up by then, I'm in.

That's about as likely as me selling off all of my cameras and buying a digital camera and a copy of Photoshop. As for the A's, they are done. Thanks to the Reds ineptitude, the same cannot be said, yet, for the Giants.
