California (Bay Area, Northern) San Francisco Beer & Gear

Hi Everyone,

I will be there, and this will be my first meetup with this group. I am relatively new to rangefinders, and will bring along my Hexar AF. If anyone attending has a Bessa R3A, I would love to have a look.

Hi Vijay & welcome to the SF Bay Area RFF Bear and Gear group. Looking forward to meeting you on Sunday. We're a pretty congenial bunch... well, maybe everyone except Robert (Honus) and MikeL, who (as one says these days) have "issues". :) I am merely a harmless drudge from Sacramento who is occasionally allowed to hobnob w/ the Bay Area Leicalistas... See you on Sunday! (alas for you, I sold my R3A earlier this year, otherwise I would have brought it w/ so you could look).
 
I can't speak for Honus, but I've started my meds again.

In tonights therapy group circle-j activity, we had to share an angry moment that resulted in self-destructive behavior. As I discussed Clinton Kershaw beating us for the 5th time this season, I took off and burned my black Giants hat, my orange and black jersey, my orange pants, my orange furry shoes, and my orange thong signed by A. Huff.

Note: I did not burn my McCovey-signed wristbands. After security helped me put on a fresh canvas coat, the counselors doubled my med dose and asked why I didn't burn the wrist bands. I was like, "Duh, I gotta wear something to spring training next year."

Ulysses.o- Definitely a gear geek out. We took the summer off but now it's back!

Randolph45- No offense meant by the T90 comment. I have some uglies I'll be bringing (though the T90 is hard to beat). Maybe the Samurai can dethrone it!

Ted- I don't know, beer beats coffee for me :)

The Folsom Street Fair is the 25th, does that crimp anyone's plans? We could always do it the following week.

Kevin- I think I'm not going to make it, (possibly heading down to santa cruz oddly enough) but let me know next time you're going to stop in the shop and I'll try to have my cv 35/1.4 with me.

Hello all. We just moved to the walnut creek area earlier this year. I would lone to connect w some of the local RFF community. If I could invite myself, when is the next get together??
 
Welcome to the Bay Area! Nothing scheduled yet beyond tomorrow's meeting but I'm planning on getting another one together in late Oct or early Nov. Hope you can join us!

Count me in. I just saw this thread and my family is visiting this weekend from back east. We're headed to Monterey tomorrow am so I probably can't make it.

Bingley has mentioned this to me as I haven't connected yet with any one here in Sacramento.So lets figure out some time in mid October or early November:)


P.S. The S.F. Art Walk and 3$ parking sounds like you are all in for a great Sunday:D
