For my Leica II that's too thick, plus I might forget to change it. More than once I've exposed HP5 plus like it's Rollei Retro 25. Some quite good shots....
My Leica II just needs a thin piece of paper. My new Leica III needs nothing, although the paint is hardly marked so maybe I'll need paper there after a few insertions and removals.
Anyone remember when the standard temporary shim was torn from a cardboard cigarette carton?
We had a new car once with a problem and the technician did a short term fix with a torn bit off of one and it was still there when I scrapped the car years later...

There's worse, I once went to compose the shot and there was no viewfinder; I retraced my steps and found it at the side of the road on a patch of grass.
