I don't know the Plustek line very well, but if they don't offer an APS film carrier for these models, I doubt they can be used to scan APS film without pulling the film out of the cassette, cutting it into strips, and making a film carrier to handle the format.
Some Konica Minolta, Canon, and Nikon Coolscan film scanners had an accessory carrier for APS film. I had the Minolta ScanDual II and its APS carrier, it worked ok but the carrier was fragile.
Nikon made the best APS film carrier for the Coolscan IV and V series film scanners. Expensive as hell, but robust and consistent in operation. Motorized advance, etc. Best to hunt around for it and a Coolscan IV or V on Ebay if you are going to scan a lot of APS film, or just send the film out to be scanned.
Ok, thanks. $95. Ouch. Do any other members here have a need for on of these and want to split the cost? After I scan my rolls, I would never use it again. I'm in Australia.
