I was wondering if anyone new if I can collapse my 50 summicron SM lens into my M6? I know I can't do it with my M5, because of the meter that's behind the lens. The M6 meter's is that white patch, but I don't want to chance it.

thanks.

Really? That's fantastic! It's an old lens, but I love it and it makes the cameras much easier to carry around.

Thanks.

I have both the rigid and collapsible versions of the 50mm f/2 Summicron which are used on my M3's and M6.

Are they screwmount lenses with M adapters? It's an old lens I bought with my 3f years ago.

The rigid is M-mount but the collapsible one is screw mount with the screw to M adapter.
