Sean Reid's review of the 75mm Summarit is out. Besides the fact that the Summarit performs quite excellently, inexpensive CV 75 gave the two Leica contenders (Summicron in addition to the Summarit) a run for the money.
But go see yourself, again a review worth reading from Sean.
One more lens omparison, which makes me think which Leica lens is still undisputed king of its focal length. Maybe only the 50lux asph?

Go look the 50 mm's comparison over there: the Nokton does the same thing to the Summi ASPH

unless you're a pro or can easily afford the cash, the cv lenses are so close in results that they really seem the best choice in many cases.

to an untrained eye, i doubt it.
on my walls i have 11x14 inch prints that i made in a wet darkroom and others that were made in a lab, digitally.
no one has ever noticed a difference.
