I figure it is time to plan for our next meet. Weather has been nice lately, and now I have my 100mm. :)

I like the Elysian. . . .but how about this other place I know of :

Buca di Beppo in Seattle, right near Glazers Camera :

nice place for food, at least. Best Italian I've had in . . .well, anywhere.

Just an idea.

Elysian is more laid back, but this Italian place has amazing food and has nearly infinite parking (BIG lot across the street). Not particularly loud or anything. Just busier. It DOES have its walls plastered with tens of thousands of photos.

I know of at least one more member that will be coming along this time - with his new RF645 too!

Let's plan for a couple weeks out or whatever we need to do in order to get a nice crowd this time. ANd I thought the print swap was a good thing last time - maybe do that again?

Saturday the 27th of May or Saturday the 3rd of June.

bump again. . . . .

I hate when I'm the only poster on my threads! Especially when I have more than two posts.

Count me in, but I would have to lean towards the Elysian again. Being a restaurant setting (and Buca di Beppo no less) I think that it would make it a bit harder to hold the type of meeting that was so enjoyable last time. The Elysian was nice and relaxing, and they even carried separate checks!!

good point. Relaxing is a good thing. I was probably hungry when I posted that. The Buca di Beppo is a tasty place, but probably not quite as conducive to our meeting interests.

... come on. The forecast is rain and temperature below 60 for the next five days! Sounds like great meeting weather to me (especially with a good glass of focussing fluid).

I think we're looking at the week after next, maybe. Saturday the 3rd of June.

focusing fluid. . . .Redhook Sunrye does it for me right now. Bottle in hand!

Ok guys just two questions:

Is there going to be a meeting on Saturday?

What does "bump" mean?

Bob

I keep seeing this thread but I don't know if I'll be able to make a meet in the next couple weeks due to moving upheaval -- but you guys have a good time! :) You should do a print swap again.

I'm moving back to LA in the next couple weeks - or maybe the next 3 weeks. Gettin itchy again.

this happened to my latest try at the Seattle RFF meet. Maybe we are missing something . . . maybe we NEED something.

So, anyone interested in trying to get together for some talk, photos (exchange???) and beer (think Elysian, or.....)???????

I'm back in Seattle again. . . .

I would be.

I'd be interested in another exchange as well. . .
