Dear All,
I recently bought an OM-3 which come with a Databack. I did not need/want a databack but that was what was on the camera so now I would like to have it working, however I seem to be unable to set anything. The model says Databack 4 and it has only two controls: a tiny quare button on the left and a lever on the right. When I put the batteries in the display tart flashing (very dimly) a time and if I push the button it gives a date but that is about all wat I can do with it...
Anyone know how to set the time and...well get a usable data on the film from it...
Tanks!

At the bottom of the page of the link, provided by Oscroft above, is a link to a PDF of the official manual that seems to explain how to set it.

Do bear in mind that it won't be much use for very long - "The maximum year that can be imprinted by Recordata Back 4 is 2009"
Thank you! Inded as it was later noted teh page does contain a manual. Actually it seems that my back is not working properly but I just plaied around for 1' before replying... Finally, I know it is not much use for much longer (I did not need one anyway, it was just a case I found it on the camera) for date but one can alo use it to just have a code on the film...
