I've subscrbed some minutes ago and just wanted to say "Hello" to you. There are so much forums here. I don't know, which is the right for me, because I own several cameras, some are RF, some have scale focus, some have interchargeable lenses, some not. So I decided to post in the general discussion forum. Perhaps I can help with solutions to problems you have with cameras and perhaps you can help me, too, when I have no idea what a solution to any problem could be.

My English is not the best. I hope you understand, what I mean and vice versa.

Kind regards,

kleinkamera

Welcome to a truly international, friendly, and helpful group!!!!!!!!!!!! Please don't be afraid to both contribute and ask questions.

Bill

Thank you for all that friendly answers!

@ darkkavenger: The camera in the avatar is my Bessa R with a russian Jupiter 11 1:4/135mm and a russian turret viewfinder. The russian stuff works great togehter with the screwmount Voigtländer/Cosina. I was positively surprised about the russian quality. Only my first Jupiter 9 1:2/85mm was horrible. The second works great, in spite of the fact it is from 1956 and the oldtimer among my lenses. I do not have the money for a Contax 😉 .

@ Socke: Die Zecken schaffen das nie. War Ehrensache! Meine Freundin wohnt ganz nah am Westfalen-Stadion. Was meinst du, was da beim 1:0 los war!

Themawechsel...

This forum is a nice place and you can get really useful information!

Nice, btw, to have some more Germans around here. This increases the chance of a meeting someday...

On a somewhat less emotional note, maybe we can start a German Regional club here at some point? I think there's enough of us now for the critical mass.

Philipp

Welcome,

I think you will like this place. There is only one problem here: GAS 😀

Hallo auch von mir @kleinkamera and let me take the chance to post a kind hello to all the other members, too.
Even new here i enjoy the relaxed mood in most threads and the high competence of many users.

Gruss aus Hannover, Germany

Welcome, kleinkamera,

hope you will enjoy rff.

A personal note:

🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂

It seems that Philipp's idea is a good one! There are quite a few Germans here, as we can see in this thread!

Moin,

auch von mir herzlich Willkommen!

Schöne Grüße aus Hameln,

Apologies to the non-German speakers in this forum!

Hallo Uwe and Kleinkamera,
English is the spoken language on RFF but many members speak muliple languages here. [Ja, ich verstehe Deutsch ...]

This is a great place to chat with people.

Herzlich Wilkommen!

Hi Kent,

It is good to see you here.
Since our meeting in Germany, I have bought a broken Contax IIIa [now being repaired] to open the doors for me to enjoy using vintage Zeiss lenses.

Grüß Gott!

I married my (Californian) wife while living in Fürth/Bayern 20 years ago.

The international flavor is one of my favorite things about RFF. In a recent poll, non-U.S. members made up the majority of the Forum.

Welcome kleinkamera!

Welcome kleinkamera!

You are a German guy using Russian equipment and I'm a Russian guy using German equipment and that's just great. I'm sure you'll find this a great place to obtain and pass along some great knowledge.

By the way, the only real problem that I have now is that the stupid government of the state of Alabama, USA doesn't permit the sale of my favorite German beer - Dortmunder Dark. They say the alcohol content is too high in it........ idiots.
Anyway, welcome to the forum and shred your credit cards 😀
