Yea, but my local shop sells it for 618 US... They said they spent 128 US on CLAing it, and it's from their collection. Gonna wait for them to tell me if they have any other offers for me

Haha! The skin is kinda ugly to me now lol. I know the M3 is one of the best 35mm film cameras ever made, but I just don't find it as good as the M6. Or, I'm just gonna save up more and keep the M3, and buy a BP iii

I'd keep the M3 and save and get a III to compliment it. This is coming from someone who owns and uses both heavily.

Raid is right, even crappy lenses are sharper when used on black cameras.
That said, I would not trade a good-running M3 for a III, unless you had more M3's.

Of course, even if the camera is 100% plastic trash, as long as it's black, the image quality is massively enhanced.

Make sure to put a protective coat on your lenses too. It will prevent the glass from getting scratched.

Not only that! Black cameras may even improve also the photographic subjects' mood, and perhaps even their health! —— At least, my cousin, an avid horse photographer, says so. (She's a completely serious M.D. vet., horse breeder and hippology-PhD, and I hope she's going to publish her particular field study results soon.) —— I have no doubt that it's true!

IMO.
I don't think what Elmar is going to look better on black body. If J-8 is black it might be, but LTM bodies lose their appeal with non collapsible 50 lenses on them.

But yea, if M6 is better than M3, then M3 is better than IIIf.
