Show me a nice old car

Lovely photo's; thanks and brilliant for a grab one handed. I just wish I was rich now and could afford one...

Regards, David

PS I've put it on the list with the "Superfast" and the RHD Citroen SM...

Thank you, Murray, and everyone else for the quick response. I would have never guessed it was a Toyota in a million years. Live and learn.

All the best,
Mike

Live and learn, or "You Only Live Twice", the Sean Connery/James Bond movie in which the cabriolet version of the 2000 GT was prominently featured, where it remains dear to the hearts of car/Bond/Connery fans of a certain age.

Thanks for the shots, Mike.

Datsun Fairlady 260Z 2+2
Not in primo condition, probably a daily driver.

Alfa Romeo Spider (maybe 1995)
Not the greatest light but a nice car.

Another mystery car. At least it's a mystery to me. Anyone know what it is?
If you click twice on the image you can see a strange emblem on the front grill and the center of the wheel.

Definitely a de Tomaso Pantera. The larger air-grille ahead of the rear wheels appeared about 1985 at least through 1989. Mid-engine Ford V8. The Pantera had a long production run from 1971 - 1993 according to Google. A tenant of mine had one, used for daily commuting 25mi to work... :)

Doug, I'm always amazed at how much you know about automobiles. I think I try to find old cars to photograph just to hear what you have to say about them. Glad you're around to comment. Thank you.

All the best,
Mike

Thanks Mike.... It comes from an interest over the years. I've been in several car clubs too, picking up info from others; Volvo, Corvair, BMW, Mercedes, Porsche... :)

Nick, a nice-looking Falcon! Would that one be left-hand driver? (I don't see a rear-view mirror on the near side.) I wouldn't know the year, but a co-worker at Ellsworth AFB in South Dakota had just bought one when I arrived mid-1964. Like this one, a white convertible with reddish top.

Old Suzuki Jimmy's never die, they just keep on rolling down the road.

I’m not sure but quite possibly. I believe the early Falcons were American cars, while the later ones were home grown.
