Lovely car and very nicely portrayed. I rarely see them, even in photos, now. Thanks for posting it here.
My dad had one of these after four MGs (TD, TF 1500, MGA, and MGB). He turned 50 and a month later he traded the MGB in on the Rover 2000 TC. (I might note that I turned him on to the Rover.

My boss had one
A colleague at work also use to give me a lift home in his Rover 90.
The doors opened the "wrong way" . He was always complaining about his son who was playing "this rock and roll".
His son was a singer in a group called Mott the Hoople.
