When I was a boy, some 70 to 60 years ago, in the places were I lived in Italy, Roma and Fregene (a Roman beach town) there was an incredible abundance of posh and beautiful cars. Just to give an idea Ferraris 275 GTB (Scaglietti berlinetta) and the 250 GT California Spyder appeared regularly in Fregene (I even knew the owners). Back then Italy was a tranquil and most beautiful place .
The photos of modern Japan by Mike remind me of those happy days in Italy.
Nowaday not only I don't see any more beautiful new or old car, but even if if I met one and had my camera with me, I wouldn't take any picture, because it would be too dangerous. Too bad!
