Yes. His collection is one of the best American car collections period. I am fortunate that he picked me to photograph it.

It's what it says it is, an old Dodge, a former Chrysler product.

Judging from the license plate, this Dodge is quite a ways from "home". The OP may not recognize the specific make or model, but it's a fourth generation Dodge Coronet (1957-59). A land yacht that somehow managed to sail across the Atlantic to its parking spot there in North Yorkshire.

I would not be surprised if it were part of a GI's personal belongings while stationed in England, USAF. Sold to a buddy when he rotated back to CONUS and on down the line and finally off into England. Back when fins mattered.

I don't know the model Dodge this is, so I'll take dourbalistar's word on this one.
Double headlights were introduced in 1958, but those fins look very 1959 to me.

If you follow the Wikipedia link you will see a photo of a '57 Dodge Coronet with quad headlights. Wikipedia is usually accurate in things like this. Even to the point of writing up the Dodge 501 which was reputed to not have existed. I had a friend with one and saw it many times. It was fast. Very fast.
The car posted also has fuzzy dice. Say no more. ;o)
Yes, 1959-ish Dodge hardtop. I had a1959 4-door hardtop of the same style, in two-tone pink! 318 cubic inch V8, handled pretty well but when I moved from the wide-open spaces of South Dakota to Seattle's crowded Capitol Hill district it had to go.

Based on the front grille design with the wrap around parking light(?) pods under the dual headlamps, I think it might be a 1958 Coronet:

I think you're right.
I'm more familiar with GM and Ford products of the time. I didn't realize that Chrysler Corporation already had such fins in 1958.
