Hmmm, no Leica glow so far?
I could post some Canon glow shots from Canon 50/1.2.

I think its really hard to see that glow on a computer screen. That glow is what us old timers say when you see a Cibachrome print from a Leica shot lens.

Based on the varying responses to this question posted in various forums at various times... i don't believe there is a consensus as to what constitutes "Leica glow." Some people seem to think it's 'softness.' Some people think it's flare. Some people think it's backlighting.... And, so the legend lives on, because everyone has seen 'it' at some point....

Didn't Frances Schulz (in a magazine article) think it was maybe a little bit of overexposure?

I don't like the color from conversion on this one but as Nick said Summar glow:
Summar plus a lil internal haze and some generous cleaning scratchs also helps with "the glow"

Thanks for showing. Which lenses can give you that Glow? I get a hazy, strange glowing flare with my 5cm Summitar at times. Is that it?

Nick, as I remember there were plenty of scratches on that lens. I didn't like that, but now, well, I would.

It was in an article in Black & White Photography magazine (UK) probably last year sometime.
