Top!

Regarding the film... I really enjoy it's classic look lately. It's full of character and light when used with a low contrast lens such as an old Nickel Elmar. 35mm mid range portraits may be the only motive where it's grain and sensitivity isn't the greatest match. But for street and as a "daily shooter" film there's nothing better than Foma 400 @ 800, I tried everything.

Furthermore it's price is unreal when bulkloaded here in EU. I will do excessive dev tests this winter.

Glad you are enjoying it, It took me a while to zero in on what I want. I have never used it on portraits, will try, or @800.

This is a four stop under exposure but developed normally (no filter):

What exactly does "@EI200" mean in front of a scene with such extreme contrast? Metering decisions span a wider range than the 1-stop difference between EI400 and EI200.
Could you tell us, e.g., the placement of the grass in the lower left foreground?

Nice picture. Congratulations.

Fomapan 400 in Rodinal. I don't think it is a nice combination. Will try in HC-110 although i have to say that i like the Fomapan 200 much (much) better.
