... and my P.
Last week I won a like-new, functional Canon light meter for the P. I expect it this week. So expect an update soon...

Kuribayashi/Petri meter
Kuribayashi/Petri meter
Well spotted Wayne - it's also marked Kuribayashi Camera Industry Inc. Japan, so assume it's from around the change of company name. It's cracker, seems accurate and came on the case strap of a nice USD30 FED2b ebay auction win! Pic to follow of the meter if I get a chance. Never could find out much about it, or saw another, so any details welcome. Only thing about it was a pic, near the bottom of this page
A brief company history :-
"Petri Cameras Co. of Tokyo started life as Kuribayashi Camera Works, founded in 1907. The name Petri is apparantly derived from Peter the First; it was supposed to make the cameras more acceptable in overseas markets. The company changed its name to Petri in 1962 and went bankrupt in 1977."
Personally, I think Kuribayashi sounds better .....

The grip is a generic GMP grip. The wriststrap is from Luigi. Together they work wonders handling the camera. You'll see the grip on Back Alleys' P above as well. Beautiful bunch of Ps again. What a pity he sold them all...ricpr said:Huubl
