Got the camera earlier this year, it came with a rigid I-22 that is OK but I tend to use this rigid I-50 more since it has a lens shade.
I may be sending it off to Oleg for a CLA but it is working well--so far:D--and no light leaks so I may not.

And, I realized that I hadn't posted anything in this thread for quite a while so I thought I needed to redress that.

Going to be out with it later today; got some Ektar loaded in it and am ready to go.

My zorki 3c with 15mm ltm heliar, it has become my instant favourite camera !
The only downside is the camera doesn't have take up spool which it didn't come with when i purchased the camera, but i temporarily fixed it with my own simple solution and it works like a charm !

That is a beautiful lens.....and camera too

At the belowpicture on the left is my 'Cyrillic' Zorki, at the right the more common 'Roman' Zorki of a fellow flickr-member for whom I replaced the first shutter curtain (the original had two holes). See here for the pictures on the replacement of the shuttercurtain: http://www.flickr.com/photos/zorki_2007/sets/72157627921991695/

Came as a pile of parts. The curtains had rotted so bad I couldn't stretch them for size, so it's not (yet) totally ideal. It works, though. I need to find a junker with fair-ish curtains to make templates that I can keep...

Pretty  cool, that Silver-and-Gold Edition!

I'd say it needs a chrome/brass collapsible lens and a red leather everready case too, though:D

Hm, a red leather half-case would be doable... I'll be on the lookout for a red leather bag or something 'round the thrift shops...

Derk

Edit to add: that's now totally worth it. Been through the shutter again, it's now as good as I can get it. And whisper-quiet... Right. A fire-engine red half case is officialy the next plan!

The poor man's Leica by Filzköter, on Flickr

my "new" 1952 Zorki 1, equiped with a 1947 Leitz Elmar 9cm (haters gonna hate ;) )
As I bought it, nothing worked. It was completely taken apart, cleaned, relubed, adjusted and equiped with new curtains made out of very thin japanese shutter cloth.
Works like a dream, very smooth and very quiet... never had a Leica in my hands, but I guess a Leica II can't operate much more smoother and quieter :)
