both are great shooters. Currently restauring a comparable fed2 with roman and cyrillic lettering
although they seem quite comparable, I think the Z6 has little but valuable extras:
- more clear viewfinder
- winding lever
- x-flash synch

Shutter is broken, but it still looks pretty swanky even if it is completely unusable 😉

You know, before I got my hands on one I actually though the Zorki-6 was absolutely ugly. After seeing it in person I've come around 180. It looks good for a camera its size 🙂

I had the same with Zorki 5. This camera is exactly what i need in Zorki 1 with similar size.

I think the big thing was that the Z-6 looked very top heavy and it made the camera look much bigger than it actually is in real life. I don't have huge monster hands or anything, but once I saw it in the palm of my hand it really did look surprisingly small. Still, my FED-2 should be here next week so I'll get a good chance to compare the two 🙂
